"Why haven't you come to visit me lately" asked the Father. "I haven't had much time, I've been busy with many things" reply the son. “But son, I really miss our times together. I miss showing you and teaching you new things". The son looks down onto the floor, feeling ashamed for he had disappointed his Father. His Father came towards him and wrapped His arms around him and said,” Don’t worry, I still love you with all my heart”.” Please forgive me, Father for taking you for granted, I promised I will make it next time, I won't let you down" he said. As time pass by he forgot the promised he had made to his Father. He got so caught up with many different things that he forgot his own father. The Father waited and waited for His beloved son, but he never came. "Whatever is keeping him away from me won't last, but I will be here forever, waiting on him till he returns to me.

~As the young man in the story, we tend to do the same thing to Our Heavenly Father. We get so caught up with our own lives that we tend to forget about Him. Either it be with house duties, helping our children with their homework, or just watching TV. Put Him first and I promise that you will have time for whatever you have to do. Our Father loves for us to come to Him, to spend time in His holy Word. Let us make God our main priority in our lives. Learn from Him and reflect His majesty and love here on earth
