When the Lord finally calls me home,
And I’m standing at the gate,
Will the Lord say “Welcome home my child”?
Or shake his head and just say “Wait”?
Will He say “You’ve been faithful,
You’ve been loyal and true.
Come meet those who are here in Heaven,
Because they heard of me through you”?
Will He show me to the mansion,
He has prepared for me?
In peaceful moments sometimes,
I wonder just who will I see.
Will my Grandma and Granddad be there?
What about my son??
Will my son even know who I am?
When he died, he was so young.
Will I know my friends and loved ones,
Who have passed throughout the years?
Will I be freed forever,
From sickness, strife, and fears?
Will I see streets actually made of gold?
Will it be the paradise I’d thought it'd be?
Will it be beyond the most beautiful sight,
The Lord has ever allowed me to see?
The Bible tells me if I believe in Jesus,
In the Book of Life, my name will appear.
But I ask, if He allows me into Heaven,
Someday will I see you there?

you'll see me there! :) This poem reminds me of the song "I can Only Imagine" by Mercyme. Its really neat and asks questions that I often ask. I know it will be better than anyone can imagine!
God bless, see you then :)
