The clock is ticking,
Like never before.
Would you turn a deaf ear,
Or prepare for His call?
The first time He came,
We caught a glimpse.
Of a man blemish free,
Perfect and pure within.
We were deemed condemned,
But that was not the case.
When He suffered on the Cross,
And had our sins erased.
He is coming again,
To bring us back home.
A home He had prepared,
For you and me alone.
Let us set our paths straight,
By walking towards Him.
Have our faith renewed,
And never let it wear thin.
Our minds might be attacked,
And our faith ridiculed.
By some people around us,
Who seem terribly rude.
Do not react with anger,
For it pleases Satan.
Give thanks instead,
To our Father in heaven.
It means we have done,
Something right for Him.
By standing firm and strong,
In the presence of the King.
Keep on praying,
For the lost and unsaved.
May they one day realize,
And repent of their ways.
Be the light of this world,
And exude His qualities.
Keep the fire burning,
And serve in humility.
Hold on to the fact,
That He loves you dearly.
He wants you to receive,
Readily and abundantly.
So the clock is ticking,
There is little time left.
Surrender your heart,
And do what is best.
