Marriage
I opened up the door this morning to let the dog go play, and the chill that greeted my face and hands, told me that inside I would stay.
Even though the morning is cool, I know that later today, the sun will come and warm things up heating up the air with its rays.
It reminded me to take some time, to not judge how things first appear, for if you wait, it all may change, things that looked far may really be near.
That is how Jesus dealt with my life, how dull and ugly it was at first sight, but how it changed as He transformed my life, becoming beautiful in HIs healing light.
Even then, when I looked out, the future was not mine to see, each moment needed to be lived in full, revealing slowly what I was to be.
Then came a day when into my life, God brought a love so true, and the lesson learned to savor each moment, is pure joy because I spend it with you.
Each small bit of happiness I have with you fills my heart with bliss, and each moment of time I think is the best, how could it ever be better than this?
Each tick of the clock marks a bit of time, another wondrous gift from above, and a time to spend in peace and joy, with you, my gift of love.
