MORE GRACE! NOT JUST MORE POSTS OR ARTICLES!
1Cor.4:20
For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
Ps.107:20
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.
Dear friend,
Grace is the subtle and innocent word for God's awesome power. The grace of God is the finality of His authority, might and power, especially in this dispensation.
Every Christian communication becomes effective when God's grace is revealed, released and received. Signs and wonders are very faithful associates to every divine assignment- loyal and dependable allies they are indeed!
Though there are other ways of communicating God's Kingdom, the documentation of it is very unique for obvious reasons. Therefore, whatever we write has the potential to sustain countless generations- just like the Bible- but only if it possesses divine accreditation and authenticity. Needless to say, we can't afford to be hasty or competitive in preparing and administering it.
A renowned minister continued preaching John 3:16 and never stopped until his audience began walking in its GRACE or salvation in all it's ramification. Every Word of God is disseminated to fulfill and accomplish preconceived results. Accomplishment therefore, is when our words kick devils, heal and then bless people practically in the Lord! Our God given words should minister grace, strength, encouragement, healing, comfort, courage, wisdom and the love of Christ, to the glory of God.
A stark illiterate and with chronic speech impediment, full of the Holy Spirit will make more impact ministering God's grace, than a highly educated and eloquent but carnal minister, even though a good education is an invaluable plus. If ordinary men with no special training would spend quality time with Jesus, they will become bold, extraordinary and an amazement! Acts 4:13 NLT.
With deliberate determination, we must infuse the Spirit of God into every statement we put down! This might take considerable time and energy, but a necessity, because only the letter kills! It's the grace or power backing your words that count. Acts 6:8, 10, 15.
The most important victory you'll ever achieve in your Christian walk is conquering your words, ideas and opinions so that HIS alone may be highlighted. The Roman centurion and Simon Peter wisely declared respectively, "speak the Word only" and "but at thy Word" - Luke 7; Luke 5:5.
So, here's the golden question. Can any of our writing or post increase in relevance and authenticity a decade from now? But the Bible is thousands of years old, yet we know that every Word in it is more than an explosive just waiting to be detonated!
We are responsible not only for the revelation of the principles of God's Kingdom but also the manifestation of its power or grace. Nothing has been accomplished until grace is ministered!
Therefore beloved, let's strive towards higher quality and not only quantity.
Every written document, enhanced immensely by seasoned intercession and faith will transform our work into dynamic, apostolic, prophetic and authentic holy epistles!
I do understand that compelling urge to keep writing, that all gifted writers have, but with self restraint and discipline, every of our composition becomes His Word - Rhema! And this is the Word of the Lord that endures forever - Praise the Lord! Psalm 119:160.
Just one hymn "Just as I am" by Charlotte Elliot in 1836, an invalid from birth, confined physically but not spiritually and mentally, is still regularly rehearsed in most services, even after several decades!
There are messages from (commanded by) God, and there are those composed by faith. Both are good, important and relevant, but for the sake of excellence, the former should be our choice and pursuit. If our writings don't “intoxicate, heal or set us ablaze” first, then they will hardly affect or influence anyone positively.
This rare choice of excellence will reward us always with highly anointed words, seasoned with salt always ministering grace - the power God. Hallelujah!
Ideally, our words, now His Words, should have the capacity to leap out of pages, imposing life and power into people's spirits, souls, bodies and economies - I believe this is not against God's will. God's Word is not sent to impress, caress or harass humanity but primarily to heal and deliver from destruction. Glory to God!
Now, the essence of ministry is for people to receive the Word in faith and not just to know you have the Word. Therefore humility (death to self) is a necessity to getting them persuaded. Jesus Christ condescended, so must we! He didn't open the clouds, with a megaphone in hand, shouting down - " Hey everybody, believe in me and thou shall be saved, OK?” And He could have done that! But just look again at Philippians 2:1-11, amazing, simply amazing!
Just imagine how God, in the form of Jesus Christ deliberately suffered degradation, relegation and extreme humiliation, just to woo and persuade us, stark, ignorant unbelievers, to Himself!
So, before we submit yet another well articulated write-up, let's know this. Many people can read and write. English language is becoming common knowledge. Whatever you will write or say has already been written or said before. Only God’s mercies/grace or revelations are new every morning.
Consequently, our words and thoughts would become just passing information EXCEPT we secure divine mandate. One write-up with heavenly aroma, spice and seal will do far more for more people, through a longer period, than one hundred ordinary compositions.
Finally beloved, let's exert every energy, determined to acquire God's endorsement first - in the secret place! This will cause our gospel to convict and convert sinners, then revive and edify the saints. Furthermore, this is how our labor for the Lord becomes precious gold, silver or bronze that would never be consumed by God’s fire of testing but truly refined.
Acts 4:29-31, 33.
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
Enjoy a marvelous day in God's awesome presence.
