hear the footsteps, like a thousand bombs falling on berlin
all running towards one finish
fleeting within, static songs fill the lungs
the voices grow louder with each bolt that races across the darkened sky
pointing to the end
radio for help, keep your thoughts close to your chest.
phones yelling of the hook, ovens burning down...
where have you gone?
I waited for you today
somewhere between here & tomorrow
Were you dreaming?
lost helplessly in slumber as the bombs fell?
I think no ones listening, so its ok to show me you care now...
soft & out of key is what I have
and somwhere in that mess is you...
somewhere inbetween the thousands of footsteps is one heart beating soundly & only for you
Do you hear the rain pounding on the roof? Screaming to upset the trend we've started... ripping me from the dream I've made
Can you hear it? Can you see it?... it feels like a commerical... "this sad story brought to you by one heart searching for a home..."
