Do you ever wonder what’s in Heaven?
Beyond the Spiritual, I mean. We know that River of Life is up there and the streets are made of gold, but I always wonder what else is there.
I’ve been afraid to voice my questions. . .till now.
Are there shoes in Heaven? High heels, flats, flip-flops. . .do the angels go barefoot or wear thong sandals with bead trim?
Is there snow is Heaven?
People say, “The weather there is prefect”, but do we know what weather God ordains as “perfect”?
Does he like 75 and fair, or snow and breezes?
Come on, think, we don’t KNOW what weather He likes. Humans take what THEY like and say “it’s perfect”, but is it really?
What kind of food is in Heaven? Apples and pears, or fruit we’ve never seen? Like a Pinape, looks like a grape, taste like a pineapple.
Will we read books? And if so hardcover or paperback?
Do people choose their own clothes in Heaven? For instance, will Believers from India wear Saris while I wear jeans?
Maybe so, the Bible says we’ll be know by our race and nationality.
And one thing I REALLY want to know–is there chocolate in Heaven?!
Dark, rich, wonderful chocolate–I bet there is. I’m sure King David is eating some right now.
It’ll be silkier than Godiva and have a wider variety of filling flavors that Ben and Jerry’s.
Hmmm.
I wonder. . .is there ice cream in Heaven? Are the angels eating ice cream “Sunday’s” with rainbow sprinkles?
Oh, well, I guess we’ll all know one day if we trust in our Savior.
All these questioned will be answered, alone with the serious ones.
I wonder. . .

Ah, this brings back such pleasant memories of my pastor that passed away a few years ago. He was so funny! He once talked about his big belly, blaming it on the fact that it was not difficult at all for him to put away half gallons of Blue Bell. And then He suggested that perhaps God likes barbeque: "Think about it! Why else would He have His people sacrifice so many lambs on the altar? Can't you just see Him leaning over the burning sacrifices, taking in the smell of that roasting lamb?"

I LOVE these thoughts! Especially wondering what weather God considers "perfect". And picturing the angels eating ice cream "Sunday's" with rainbow sprinkls made me smile. Wonderful!
