You're probably asking what does writing about the faith have to do with supporting rape and sex trafficking. It has a lot do with it, if you are a faith writer who is caught up in pornography. It is to our shame as Christians when we are caught up in pornography. For some of us, we don't even know what is in the background of some of these provocative scenes.
For some of us we have been blinded into believing that what we are seeing is just a group of adults who are displaying their liberties and free spirits to entertain us with their sexual promiscuousness. Some of us may have even been blinded to believe that some of these women are just looking for a way to make money to put themselves through college. These may be surface reasons for some, but as Christians we have to look deeper.
Some of these people who operate these organizations work with women who are victims of rape. This means that the woman that you are viewing may be under the influence of a drug that calms her nerves and alters her state of mind so that she will not resist the rape. Which means that you are actually a witness to a rape.
Some of these organizations work with women and girls who are victims of human trafficking (also known as sex trafficking). These are women and girls who have been abducted from their homes and are being sold in sex trades. Which means that these women and girls are participating against their wills.
And finally, what about the woman who wants to be there. Then in her case, by watching pornography, you are supporting her lifestyle. It is a lifestyle that will ultimately condemn her to Hell. She may not know any better, but as a Christian, you should. You are contributing to the purchase of a ticket for a lost soul to Hell.
Now this lady that you are fantasizing about may not be your daughter, but she is someone's daughter. She may be the daughter of another Christian who is praying for her fervently and without ceasing because he knows that she is lost out there somewhere.
Now ask yourself, as a Christian, when you face the Lord, do you want on your record that you supported these things.
