I just got done reading Kristin Billerbeck’s Girl’s Best Friend
In one word– sensational!
I was one of the best Christian Chick Lit I’ve read.
In the story, Morgan Mallard is a Diamond heiress with a neglective father, and two best friends she calls her “Spa Girls”. Morgan’s mother died of cancer when she was young, so she’s only has a dad.
A dad that is so consumed with money he’d put his own daughter’s reputation on the line to get more of the green paper.
Deciding she needs to experience “real life” she leaves daddy, her huge bathroom, and her icy housekeeper behind to live in a loft with friend Lily–a fashion designer.
Things go from bad to worse, and Morgan is being follow by a really hot guy that you’ll have to read the book to find who and why.
This book had a few twists to it you don’t expect, and if you’re a fan of good Chick Lit ,like me, you won’t be able to put it down.
I loved it so much I took it in the bubble bath with me–which isn’t weird for me–but I got so into it I didn’t notice my bath water had gone cold!
The thing I learned in this book is not to be afraid of change, what people think isn’t really important sometimes, and that forgiving someone, and being walk on are two very different things.
I really enjoyed this book, give it 5 big, platinum stars, and suggest it highly.
