Have you ever meditated upon the shortest verse in the bible? John 11:35 states that Jesus wept.
Many believe he wept because his friends were grieving over their lost loved one, Lazarus. Many think He wept because he didn't arrive before Lazarus died. However, think upon this. As He looked over the multitude of people who had come to see what would happen when He arrived, before He prayed to his Father in heaven, did he notice all the unbelief on their faces that He could really restore Lazarus to life? Is that why He wept? Does He weep today as He looks at the sea of faces here on earth and sees so much disbelief?
