AGING IS LIVING
FROM BIRTH TO DEATH,
THE PROGRESS IS SURE.
STEADILY PACED,
FOR THIS THERE S NO CURE.
FOR MAN AND BEAST
WAS BORN TO DIE.
IT S PART OF THE PROCESS
SO WHY DO YOU CRY?
BECAUSE WE ARE SELFISH,
WE WISH WE COULD KEEP
THEM FOREVER WITH US
IN WATERS SO DEEP.
BUT, ALAS, IT IS SIMPLY
NOT MEANT TO BE,
FOR GOD PUTS YOU HERE
AND THEN SETS YOU FREE.
SO PUT ON A SMILE
AND ACCEPT IT, MY FRIEND
BECAUSE, SOONER OR LATER
YOU WILL MEET THE END.
