Psalm 25 reveals a tough time for King David. He had been blessed then he fell out of the grace of God and looked for redemption by God. As you read Psalm 25, you get a sense that mankind today is struggling with the same faults, experienced during King David time. I ask the question, in this time of spiritual drought. What can mankind achieved? How do we achieve Peace in the world we live? Accusation of unjust leadership, leads to divisive discourse without providing resolutions. A cry for redemption from Western and Eastern Head of States is a salient viewpoint of what afflicts humanity today. Yes, it is good to understand the issues of Justice however no real solutions are given. Just point and counter-point of what afflicts humanity prevents solutions. People in power need to sit down and have constructive dialog, in a civil and trustworthy way to change or reform the way we live and work on this planet. This effort is done through Prayer and Faith in our fellow neighbors. Wealth and Power will not change our situation. Only Self-control can change the affliction of humanity. Start not by pointing out the faults of your neighbor rather, what you can do to support Peace. The tendency is to look over the pond, or look into your neighbor’s eye and shout what make sense for change. Shouting is not working. Pride of the eye is not working. We need to understand and respect other viewpoints within the World, so we can all solve the affliction of humanity.
