I once had a dream and in
my dream I saw a golden
Box placed into my hands
and I heard a voice from Heaven
Say.
"Open this Box for it is a Gift
of Faith given to thee this day."
As I started to unwrap this beautiful
Box given to me. I saw a Vision
before my eyes
of Jesus Christ hanging on a tree.
The voice from heaven said to
me;"before you open this box
You must understand and see
what My Only Begotten Son did
for humanity."
As I looked upon the cross;
this vision I saw;
I saw The Son of God
stripped of his clothing
and beaten for me.
Blood could be seen ever
where and I fell on my knees.
The Golden box started
to unravel upon its own
and from the box a White
Dove arose.
I called out to Jesus with
tears in my eyes and confessed
my sin.Then Heaven's
Dove entered into my heart;
and I no longer felt the guilt
of my sin for I had become
Born Again.
The voice from Heaven
said "Look deep into this
Box each day;for there
will be promises of Greater
Faith to follow the Way."
I awoke from my dream;
and tears where running down from
my eyes;there on my dresser
was my Bible and
it was opened to James 1:17.
Every Perfect gift is from
Heaven from the Father
Above;always delivered
In His Time and sent with
His Love.
My Faith grew stronger that day;
as I reflected on my dream;
and I Thanked God above for His Great
measure of Love and asked Him
to remind me each day what a precious
Gift He gave to me to Believe.
The Heavenly Father gave
me Faith To see Jesus
Great Love for me and to see That
with Faith;I can travel along lifes
pathway.
It is by Faith,that
I hold onto the golden
Box of God’s promises for today and
for tomorrow;what ever comes my
way.
Blessings and sorrow come to all;
but with the gift of Faith I believe
we can press forward and answer
the call to our God given destiny.
As we place our lives in the Hands
of our Heavenly Father each day;
life will be a Gift wrapped in God’s
Love;His Holy Spirit will guide
and guard our hearts as He unravels
the moments and hours in Grace;
as we seek Jesus Face.
We can embrace
The Blessings of the day;
knowing that we are never
alone;for it is in the Hand
of God that on earth we do trod.
For it is in the Love of His Son;
that our life has eternal value as
we share the Gift of God’s Love
with everyone.
Dear Dee... I echo all the wonderful comments written here. This is excellent! God has so many gifts to share with us, but first we must accept the GREATEST one -His dear life that He sacrificed so that we might be forgiven and live eternally with His Father! Once we accept that gift, the others come flowing out upon us! I agree with Sharon, YOU are a gift to us - a very special gift! I like the picture you draw, of opening the gift box, and what was revealed to you by doing that. It is a pleasant way to present the story of God's sacrifice and what Christ did for us. God bless you as you continue to express yourself in verse.
