I remember when I was working how I'd eagerly await each pay day. so I could go to the bookstore, a treat I looked forward to more than I can say.
The gift of words, all packed inside a book, with a story inside just for me,
and I would get lost in my reading, in a different time and place I would be.
Then Jesus came into my life and took over, my heart would never be the same, and one book suddenly caught all my interest, compared to the Bible, all others seemed so tame.
This book had it all, and God taught me to read with eyes that He'd given me anew and with His patient teaching, I discovered what was really true.
Then another book God placed in my hand, a true best-seller, a gift from above, for it was the book of the new life I would live, when I met the one I would love.
I opened the cover the day I met you, and saw the chapters begin, for you and I were one from the start, for we were brought together by Him.
Now these two books take up all my time, one to read to fill me up, the other is ours that we write every day, oh what an overflowing cup!
The story we write begins a new chapter, each day the story is brand new, and all the words go to illustrate just one thing, how very much I love you!
