Slow me down, Lord
in this “hurry up” world.
To remember to take time to
watch nature’s beauty unfurl.
To help the sad faces
that I see each day.
And remember to help lighten
their burdens along life’s way.
Help me listen, Lord,
for children’s laughter.
The sweet sounds of joy
in this life now, not after.
When I come into your presence,
I feel so unworthy because of sin.
Then you take me in your arms,
And forgive me once again.
I want to experience
your love every minute.
I can’t imagine my life,
without you in it.
It is only because of you
that I am alive and free.
How could you love
such a sinner as me?
My life is yours,
to do with what you will.
It is the least I can give,
for the price you paid on that hill.
The unimaginable torture,
that you had to endured.
To take on the sin of all mankind
so we could once again be pure.
So, slow me down, Lord,
for you are all that matters.
In this world that is so
beaten and so battered.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
