Want proof of a living God? Look skyward. The myriad, planets and galaxies reveal His identity. They scream out His intentions. They cry out His ownership and possession. Look to earth. Study the innumerable diversity of life, from the smallest bacterium to the greatest whale. All of life crying out, “ Look at me I am His creation an none other.” His hand in creation is obvious.
Biologists and botanists, since the farthest times and from all over our world , have studied the various life forms on this planet and have yet to discover them all. The voice of the creation speaks loudly and urgently of Him.
Men and women, throughout the ages, have cried the clarion call that God lives and works in the lives of men. The elect have been set apart as a temple to His Holy Spirit. Praise His mighty name! The saints have trodden the earth and have rejoiced in the majesty of the Lord God Almighty. They have taken their strength from Him in unashamed glory. They have done their duty as servants to the living God who created them. They know and understand that God takes a personal interest in everything that they do. He is always there. They also understand that there is absolutely nothing that isn’t affected by His holy plan.
The elect know in their knower that His commandments are free from any flaw. That they have all the required elements, qualities and characteristics for the good of His people. His commandments are complete. He has made them perfect. In their wisdom, supplied by the Holy Spirit, they realize that all of God’s word is true, in fact, His words are the only truth available to fallen man. The purity of His word and precepts shine as a beacon to mortal man. To His saints they bring knowledge and joy. They bring a light to a darkened world.
In a world of change, He never changes. In a world made filthy by evil, He judges rightly. In a world of lies, only He is truth. The Lord God is to be desired, no, more than that He is necessary for life on this planet ,as well as, beyond this globe. The treasures, of this world, are but a faded example of the treasures waiting for those who love Him. There is nothing that the earth can offer that even, remotely, stands up to what God , in His grace, gives to those who would obey Him.
His commandments instruct and educate His saints. They protect. They are infallible. In His commandments rest all reward and blessing. These are things that must not be held in error or in fault. . . for there is none in them. This, then, should be our prayer,
“ Keep me from pride, my God, keep me from failing to observe the limits that you have set upon me. Let me strive to do what is permitted and appropriate without human arrogance. Let your Holy Spirit guide me so that only you are my sovereign. So that ,only you, are my Lord. So that ,only you, are my master. Hold me up. Be my foundation. Let me live according to your way. Let your principles be my principles. Let your standards be my standards. Let your law be mine. Keep me innocent in your eyes through the sacrifice of my Jesus. Father, let everything I say be inspired by you and let every thought be acceptable to you. For you , my God, are the source of my strength and who has saved me from sin, error and evil. Amen!”( Psalms 19).
