Use your journal to explore the following: Do you have friends, relatives or coworkers who encourage you to sin? How do you respond to them? Have you allowed ungodly influences into your life through the media? Recall and write about a time when you gave into sin as a result of peer pressure. How did it affect your relationship with God and others? Have you confessed your sin, repented, and asked God’s forgiveness? If not, use your journal to do so now. Write a plan for standing against the pressure to sin, and then write a prayer, asking for God’s help and strength to walk in godliness. Consider who can be an accountability partner. Write about what would make him or her ideal.
