He's Been Preparing Me for You

Then, my Love, I would have been only half as good for you, with all my damaged structure. But now, I’ve been made new.

The storms of life tossed me about. My masts were torn and stained. But when I cried, I cried out “Lord!” And my God, as thus, proclaimed:

“Look at your foundation, the foundation that was laid, and see what I, the Lord, have done, the price for you I paid! Though your journey has been long, and your sails have suffered too, this, My beloved daughter, I give graciously unto you -- a promise of restoration. On My Word, you can depend. Take shelter in Me for eternity. Every broken place, I mend.”

I’d almost given up, wavering in my faith for you. But my Father spoke so clearly, “Is there anything I can’t do?” So I cast my net once more, into the Waters deep. And those Waters bring unto me, even as I sleep, visions of a threefold cord -- upon the Rock I firmly stand, with the strength of a mighty eagle, holding tight your hand. And there, on my other side, is the Lover of My Soul, smiling that knowing smile of a promise long ago, a restoration promise, a preparation of me for you. Tell me, Love, is there anything, anything at all that God can’t do?

I look at my foundation and its strength is beyond compare. Mine and My First Love’s home is carved with beauty rare. Our walls are cut from fir. Polished cedar graces our stairs. And gentle scents of mercy permeate the air.

Don’t give up; He’s almost done with the repairs He’s had to do. He’s almost done preparing me to be perfectly made for you, to be bone of your bone, and flesh of your flesh, so our lives, in harmony, can perfectly intermesh. I can't say that it's been easy. But He's thorough, you can be sure. He's given me a heart of flesh, full of love so rare and pure.

Don’t give up on us, my Love. I haven’t given up on you. I know. I know. I know there’s no thing that My First Love cannot do.

Treava, what a tremendous expression of love for God and for the one He will put in your life, at just the right time. Trish and I attest that God never fails. Love so true is a gift from God and a treasure we pray you will soon possess.

Treava, it's so poetic, eloquent, born of a faith that has cost you dearly. It will happen; it will! It's clear you have traveled beyond wishing and are walking out a gift of faith. When I lost my first marriage, all the statistics screamed against the 'odds' that I would ever know true mate-love in this life. But God!!! I journaled, I prayed for the man He would bring to me. I jumped early upon some wagons that broke down, and at last confessed to Abba that "my picker is broken." I begged Him to just surprise me -- and that He did! It was not love at first sight, but rather intense liking and an inescapable drawing that grew and responded to his godly wooing. My old wounds sometimes tempted me to bolt, but it was the amazing peace from above that gave me strength to love and commit again. How we praise Him every day for this love, a little piece of heaven on earth! I stand with you all the way. Bless you for so humbly opening the doors of your heart for others to see and receive inspiration and faith!

Some blessed guy is just waiting out there until God says, it is time! When you come into view he is going to be swept right off of his feet. I love you, Sharon

Beautiful! Look out, he's up to something big, I tell you! I'll be doing the happy dance with you when it's all over, I promise.
