More of You

Today I shared Your precious name
With someone I�ve never cared for
Someone I�ve never respected
Someone I really��..abhor

Afterward You blessed me for it
And it wasn�t as hard as I thought
You spoke the words through me
And Your word is never for naught.

Oh, it�s easy talking about You
With loved ones and family in Christ
You said it�s the sick who need a doctor
I pray what I shared sufficed.

Lord, It�s difficult to admit this
But of course, You already know
I realized I haven�t been Christ-like
In loving my neighbor, I�ve been slow.

Lord, help me to grow in Your grace
To put my personal feelings aside
To see the need for love in all people
It was for them also, You died.

I must die to my own selfish wants
And You must always increase
More of You, Lord and less of me
Is the only way to obtain Your peace.
