Our workplace closes at 6:30 p.m. Our guard, checks each of the four editing rooms and the comfort rooms before locking up. Edward, Tara and July were the lasts to leave the place. At a little over 6:30, Chito lowered the iron blind at the front door and left for home.
A few minutes after Chito left, people hanging outside the office heard banging on the iron blind. They didn't know how to take that. A voice then asked where Chito was. Whew, a collective sigh. The tambays were ready to bolt. It turned out that Cherry got locked in. After a short while, Berto, the building's caretaker, let her out using the side door at the CS room.
What's weird is this: Cherry's table is in the second room (which is also the middle room where people from the fourth and third rooms pass on their way out). The guys from the fourth room (edward and tara) swore, even Chito swore, they didn't see anyone left in the second room.
At the same time, Cherry also didn't notice that the place got deserted already. She didn't even notice Chito making the rounds. She didn't hear the lowering of the iron blind. Cherry said it was all so quiet. Q-U-I-E-T.
What could have happened? Maybe Cherry got "hidden" ?
That's SCARY.
Joe, who used to work here, said he had an encounter with the unknown. He wouldn't give the details but he was really uhm, affected.
Manang Neneng, our all-around help, comes to work at 6:30 a.m. Manang had the chance to hear and feel the presence of unseen entities in the office. Sometimes, when she's alone washing our mugs, she could hear doors banging, people walking, toilet flushing, and even someone blowing at her nape.
And last, but not the least, how about a floating coffin at 4 a.m.?
