As He carves the wood the Master laughs
He shapes maple, oak and ash
Into wonderful pieces of great design
He carefully whittles every groove and line
Until what He has done He labels good
He forms lavish pieces from a block of wood
People come from far and near
To see this wonder of which they hear
They "ooh" and "aah" as the watch Him work
Which piece to buy? No one is sure
The Master's work is always good
Yet if you should find a piece of His wood
That is old and worn
The faults came from a storm
The Master can take that piece He created
And restore it so it is no longer faded
Just like the Master, God wants to restore our hearts
If you give it to Him, the healing will start
