My faith, although it "leads me home",
I often find myself alone.
I pray to God, "be by my side",
although His laws I don't abide.
The truth is, I refuse to see,
how much my God's entrusted me.
He placed a life inside my womb,
He placed His Son inside a tomb.
While mine was just a simple birth,
He sent His Son to save the Earth.
Two thousand years cannot erase,
the beauty of Christ Jesus' face.
His Son, He gave, so I am told,
letting life continue to unfold.
Without this gift He's given me,
my daughter's life could never be.
With every tear fall to thy knees,
and pray God has forgiven thee.
For through His goodness one can tell,
just what man has to fear in hell.
