Jerusalem, O Jerusalem!
How oft our Lord wept over Thee!
The city that stoned the prophets...
Yet destined for majesty.
Lift thy head, O faithless city!
For the God and King you spurned
Then mocked and nailed to Calvary's tree
Has promised to return.
So fear not, O war-torn city!
Tho' thy enemies are strong,
Tho' they plot to cast you in the sea
Their wrath cannot last long...
Your God shall come to rescue Thee
And sing the Victor's Song!
Take heart, O weary city!
When Messiah doth appear,
He will show thy foes no pity
But shall dry thy every tear.
Rejoice, O Daughter of Zion!
Before that Day is done
Thou shall see the One you crucified
And know He is God's Son!
Be blessed, O chosen city!
He has claimed Thee for His own.
He will be thy joy and splendor;
Thy praise shall be His throne.
O Jerusalem, beloved Jerusalem!
Fair city of Israel!
Thy God shall dwell within thy gates,
At last... Emmanuel!
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem"
This is the Father's will.
She shall be called "Praise of the Earth."
God loves Thee still.

This could only be written by a Spirit-filled child of God. God is truly using your talent for His glory and I praise Him for that. Your poems are all from your heart, but with His handprints all over them. Thank you for blessing me tonight. I needed God's lift in my heart and I got it! Don't ever quit writing. In His Love,
