Let's all of us Christians pray for Osama bin Laden. Please think about this before your blood pressure rises and you dismiss and deny our Lord. Remember Osama is an enemy, and he influences millions of people.
"But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those that hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you that you may be children of your Father in heaven...." Matthew 5:44
"...The effective fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much." James 5:16
"Let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins." James 3:20
If, in answer to our fervent prayers, the Holy Spirit should convict and convert Osama bin Laden, an enemy will have been disarmed without firing a single shot, and millions of people will have felt the influence of our Savior. And not the least of which, we will have obeyed our Lord's command.
Do we believe in prayer? Do we believe in obedience to Jesus' commands? With our lives?
If the disciples had cursed Saul when he was busy binding them in chains and even killing some, what a loss the kingdom would have suffered! We need such a heart to be truly like our Lord in all things. Thanks. Wole
