It is strong enough to dig your pit
And bring you to where
You donít want to sit.
It is strong enough to dig your grave
Unless you earnestly call
Upon the One who can save.
It will throw you in the mire
For it tricks and steals
for its own desire.
Sin traps you on a crooked path
Holding you captive
To suffer Godís wrath.
Our loving Lord has all the power
To grant His mercy
To you this hour.
Pray to our Lord for forgiveness today
And for His guidance
That He may lead your way.
Pray that His hand will touch your soul
to wash away each sinÖ
Restoring you whole.
