And staying out as well.
Learning famous phrases like,
"I'm going to tell."
Starting school
And making friends.
Cafeteria lunches
And weekly trends.
His first car.
His first ball glove.
His first 'D' because of
His first love.
Graduation
And the dances.
Taking tests
And taking chances.
So many firsts
Within his life.
Before we know it
He'll have a wife.
Babies grow so very fast,
From diapers into cars.
First they're checking out the moon,
Then they're reaching for the stars.
