Laying softly my head
on her chest
Hearing the beat of her heart
Do I dare take a rest?
Will she flee if I feel
What her heart says to mine?
It’s what I have been needed
For such a long time.
She says that her limits
Cannot meet the needs
Of my child with in
What does this all mean?
Do I dare continue to trust?
What if I take the chance?
Yet I hear the heart beating
Inviting me to dance.
I cannot seem to forget
What I heard from within her heart
Please stay with me always
Come be a part
For there with in her heart,
Dwell another
That was orchestrating His plan
For her to give like a mother
