I asked the Lord for the patience
To endure everyday life
He answered, “Child I’ve answered
Before you even asked”
I asked the Lord for wisdom and knowledge
So that I may be prosperous
He answered “Child I’ve answered
Before you even asked”
I asked the Lord for love
To empower and fulfill my heart
He answered “Child I’ve answered
Before you even asked”
I asked the Lord for a model
So that I should understand His answers
He said “My child I’ve answered
Before you even asked”
Bewildered I did not see his answers:

He said “My child forget not your model:
