Thank You

Son, there�s no way I can express
The way my heart feels deep inside.
There�s pride in my American heart,
And it�s a feeling I just can�t hide!

I value the steps you�ve taken of late
To train and to learn and serve�.
May you follow the Lord along this path
And from Him, son, never swerve.

Cling to the ones who support your call
And pray for you day and night�
But remember there are those out there
Who are blinded to what is right.

Your service, son, will never be in vain,
To ones who understand the call.
We know the depth of what you do,
You fight for the freedom of all!

Jesus gave us Liberty for sure
When He died on Calvary�s hill.
Freedom never goes without a price,
And those we�ve lost we remember still.

It�s a costly gift, freedom is...
One handed down through time.
From Calvary�s hill to Yorktown�s hills
I cherish the freedom that�s mine!

Great poem, touching and heartfelt...As Christians we must always remember The best, most effective lesson we can teach our enemies here or abroad is through Love. The Love of Christ Jesus.
