Dear Lord, what can I say?
Give me the right words to pray.
Stay at my side, lead the way
So I can do Your Will this day.

Another day is dawning.
I am drawing near to You
But my mind is wrestling with problems.
How do I give them to You?

We're told to give You our focus
And lift Your name in praise.
Yet, our troubles overwhelm us
Covering our lives with a haze.

So often, we give You a 'wishlist'
Of prayer requests and needs.
We seek Your wisdom so passionately
And want answers to come with great speed.

We don't mean to be self-centered -
We pray for others, too!
But, they also end up on our 'wishlist'
And then we hand it to You.

We need to surrender it all to You,
And trust You to provide
All that we need to conquer our woes
And feel Your peace inside.

Peggy this shows the struggles that we go through on a daily basis. It is a wonderful reminder that we do indeed need to give it all to him, and feel His peace inside. He is only a prayer away! (smile) I love you, Sharon
