The moon rises at night
When I’m alone with my thoughts
In quietness it takes me
To places I’d long forgot
Translucent and still
It beckons me
To glide along rivers
Where memories are retrieved
Murmuring messages
Only I can understand
Lunar encouragements
Remind me of the grand plan
Intricacies hidden
Yet still I am aware
That the plan includes me
And the journeys I’ve shared
As the moon rises
The voyage resumes
But soon sleep overtakes me
And I am resting anew
