We are all strangers, aliens in this world.
Each one is a actor playing his part in this world.
But time will come when we’ll be called back home;
When Jesus will come to take us home.
His Kingdom will come,
and His will will be done.
We’re heading for a City;
A City full of felicity,
Whose Maker and builder is God.
He has given us His Word;
A City more enduring than gold,
Far better than Jerusalem of old,
No more sorrow,
No more parting,
No more hurting.
We are all passing thorough,
Be you a gentile or a Jew.
Mortality will clothe immortality,
Ready for eternity.
The perishable will become imperishable.
The Spirit will enable
The blessed hope would come.
We’ll have the Spiritual body-form.
Grave would be defeated,
As we are translated.
Death would be swallowed up.
Our time here would have been up.
A City with foundation;
A city full of salvation.
We are all travellers passing through
All foreigners visiting,me,you;
In transit in this world,
But the time is coming
For His glorious appearing.
No more darkness,
No more tears,
No more pain.
