As I walked this morning in the cool fresh air, I imagined I was in a sunny woods, and the street below turned into a flagstone path, inviting me to follow if I would.
Down the path was a stately tree, with a bench built all around, and I sat and watched the light in the leaves, wondering at the beauty I had found.
I let the peace and the quiet fill me up, and wondered 'what was this place?' Then I heard a small voice whisper in my ear, this is your very own blessing-place.
When I looked up I saw the clouds in the sky open up and pour down grace, a flood of love surrounded me, for you had joined me in this wondrous place.
I knew then that I had looked deep in my heart, and sow Jesus' love that had rescued me, and the joy that He had sent into my life, to make me the happiest I could be!
What a wonder it is to belong to God, Whose love and refreshment are ever new, and Who saw the deepest desire of my heart, and gave it to me when He gave me you!
