In a lesson about what is lawful
Jesus tells us the little children
receive God’s kingdom the way we all should
What’s it about children that they get it
How’s it that they believe so easily
On His lap they prance, in His arms they can run
Unto them is the kingdom of heaven (2x)
Worrying not about tomorrows
Receiving their fathers’ love to them
Not for ev'r taking to heart wrongs and hurts
Unto them is the kingdom of heaven (2x)
God's kingdom is simple they understand
His simple Way, love giv'n eternally
Forgetting His grace, hearts hardening
But happy are they, free of cares to play
Enjoying the Father’s love and grace
So carefree, willingly they share God’s love
Unto them is the kingdom of heaven
So blessed are we if like them we believe
