PURE AND UNDEFILED RELIGION
“Pure religion and undefiled before God the father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”(James 1:27).
The cry of the widows and the fatherless ascends to the ears of the Lord like the smoke of an evening sacrifice every moment. The Lord hears groaning in the heart of the world; wailings in the camp of His very own Blood bought people of souls crying for release. The God of justice will not suffer the poor to be afflicted forever. The Judge of the whole earth will plead their cause and render a just recompense to those who trouble their souls. He will stir up the spirit of the saints. They will whet their swords with blood until justice is established in the earth. We the saints of God, herein is our religion made perfect; “Visiting them in all their afflictions” (James 1:27)
The great deceiver, Serpent of old has sneaked into the Ground of Truth; the Church of the living God. He stands upon every hill and down every valley, pointing accusing finger at the Church of the living God, calling her desolate widow; one who has no husband. He (the Deceiver) is out presenting the great whore ( BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.) as the true bride; one to whom the bridegroom belongs; that she is not a widow (Revelation 18:7). The great whore who comes is the power of the great dragon, having the wealth of this world in her hand, is out in the field full of harvest, convincing souls for whom Christ died that they are widow. The multitudes persuaded she is feeding with lifeless food purchased with the pay of her harlotry, all in the name of charity scriptures command.
Just as he (the Serpent) whispered the lie of the age into the mind of the woman in the Garden of Eden that “If truly God is a father, a loving one, He would not have forbidden you from having your fill of the beautiful trees of the garden, especially the one that will make you to become like Him!”, he is still doing exactly the same today. The world today is full of those the Deceiver has successfully persuaded that God is too big or rather too wicked to be a father to anyone. He instills fear into the hearts of the former and makes them slaves who in the words of the Lord abide not in the house and know not what the master does. In the hearts of the latter he engrafts rebellion, the very iniquity found in him which led to his fall, and makes them enemies of God after his own kind. These people he has enstranged from the household of the living God, denied access to the Spirit of adoption, who is of the father in Christ alone. He has shut their eyes and ears to the awesome love of God revealed in Christ Jesus, which makes us the Children of God
(1 John 3:1).
We are the ambassadors of Christ Jesus, sent to proclaim liberty to those who are taken captive by the deception of the wicked one. The ministry of reconciliation is committed into our hand (2 Corinthians 5:18-19). We are called to sound the trumpet of hope to the weary bride; “Behold, the bridegroom comes!” that waiting hearts may not be consumed with excessive grief. If Jacob’s morsel of meal could revive almost fainted Esau, how much more will the bread of life give life to the weary souls? Instead of calling the unfortunate world to receive “manna” which the bodies of those who ate were consumed in the wilderness, we ought to feed the world with “food indeed”, so that they hunger no more.
We must wake up from our slumber and tell the harlot she is desolate widow. We must uncover her lies before the world by walking in the revealed truth of the word of God. We must raise the fallen altar and set a contest on the mount of the Word. Perhaps the Lord is touching your heart; let us meet with the Lord in the place of prayer that God should deliver His elect from her that has the cup of fornication in her hand. And that the eyes of the deceived be opened to the love that makes us His children. Truly the first are becoming the last. The mighty are falling and the weapons of war perishing. Those who came out of her in the days of revivals are trooping back into the same in the name of oneness. Who will stand in the gap for them?
W here is our heart of charity? We ought not to close our ears to the cry of the afflicted because silver or gold we have not; neither should we rejoice in their suffering. What we have in the name of the Lord, what do we do with it? The Lord desires that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth in Him. With our testimonies intact, our reports honest and our hearts filled with the Spirit, we will escape the defilement the world has to offer. We have the perfection of our religion in visiting the widows and the fatherless in their troubles. Christ gave His life for us, so we ought to give our life to the brethren. Brethren, let us walk the way to perfection!
