Sometimes in order to stop the pain,
God has to make time stand still.
Don’t ever say nothing could drive you to kill.
We hurt our own young without using a gun.
But later on that day we proudly say, “This is my son”.
What mind are you in when you climb in her bed?
How could you beat him until he was dead?
How much pain can one person endure?
The only one who knows is the one who sees it for sure.
Sitting on high, he looks down low, His eyes witness every blow.
You cry when the horror is known to you, He cries with each child it happens to. “Do you want to see what I see?” “Do you want to hear what I hear?" “Do you want to feel what I feel when each child calls out my name?”
Because I am God, you think I am not humane; you think I am strong enough to endure such pain?
I am a God of compassion, but I too am limited by My Word.
You will one day answer for the pain, the flames of my anger will consume you and all that remains.
I love all children and I always will: this is why for some I make time stand still.
I called them home to stop the pain, because they know not the meaning of “temporarily insane”. You may use that excuse, but it
won’t be forsook, because each blow was recorded in my book.
So now I leave you with this last reframe, I’m coming back soon for all sins that remain. Prepare to meet me very soon.
For I have stored up my pain to insure your doom.
“God Bless Our Children” should be our nation’s cry, so we can see to it no more children will have to die.
Words of Reflection:
Every since the moment I was impressed to record this message from my heart, by the urging of the Holy Spirit I have yet to be able to read this passage without shedding tears. It doesn’t take a stretch of the imagination to wonder on the feelings this passage will cause to spring to your mind. All you have to do is read your local paper, turn on the TV to the news channel or read some statistics from the internet about how many children die daily at the hands of people they know. The number of people targeting our children for pervasive sex acts and pornography is increasing to alarming rates. Where can our children be safe? Who will protect our children from the dangers within the home and the predators outside of the home? My heart aches for the pain inflected upon the innocent children. Matthew 18:10 says; “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.” When you are a child suffering abuse your angels are in heaven pleading before God on your behalf. Your pain didn’t go un-noticed; your pain can bring a compassionate God to tears. If you are a survivor of such a heinous act of violence then you might now be asking; "why didn’t God stop the perpetrator form these torturous acts?” The answer may be one of those mysteries which can only be answered on the other side of this life, if not later on in this life. When God gave mankind the gift and freedom of choice He had to take in account we might use this gift for evil as well as good. Free will can fall on the innocence as a curse at one time or another in our lives, but what is important to remember is if you are now a survivor then the prayers of the angels to shield you from the worst the devil could bring was held at bay. Your life was spared for a reason and now it is your assignment to find out how to turn what was meant for evil into good for other survivors. For those who didn’t survivor the plot of the enemy the angels prayed their safe return into the arms of a loving God who takes on the role of our Father. There are laws to be reinforced, statistical strategies to promote in order to crack down on the laws governing the conviction and or release of these violent offenders. There is no time to waste when other children are currently suffering under these violent acts minute by minute.
If you, like myself, have been fortunate to not have had to experience such atrocities then pray for others who have; then contact the powers in our state legislator to make a difference for the next generation to be covered by the protection of the law. Search out at your local Library or through the internet about how you can be an advocate for the minority population without a voice of their own; our children.
It takes a concentrated effort to promote change. Don’t be content with taking the path of least resistance.
Please take the time to reflect not only on your own children, but for all children around the world; then write a prayer to cover these little ones by the blood of Jesus. Share my burden, share my passion. This is what Christ is asking of you today. Are you up to the task? Write your prayer here.
