I just won the FL Lottery and will share it with all my E-Cheer sub-
scribers -- April Fool. The day I buy a lottery ticket, the sun will stand
still, the South Pole will have Florida weather, and I'll be 6 feet tall and
have wavy hair. I do enough gambling just by driving on Interstate 4
around Orlando.
As we were leaving for Good Friday service, Betty took one look at the
windshield and said, "I wish Tigger would quit getting his pawprints all
over the car." I said, "But you do love him, don't you?" She responded,
"Yes, but I don't like his bad habits," to which I remarked, "Now you
must know a little bit how God feels about us."
God loves us deeply, but He must get terribly irritated by our sin. In
Eph. 4:30 & 31 (nlt) we read this: "And do not bring sorrow to God's
Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, He is the one who
identified you as His own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the
day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words
and slander, as well as all types of malicious behavior. Instead, be kind
to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through
Christ has forgiven you." That is so complete that it requires no further
comment.
