In all this Job sinned not nor charged God foolishly Job 1:22.
• The story of Job is not a story of sickness overcoming man, it’s about God overcoming sickness in man
• It’s not about a man loosing everything, it’s about God who restored everything that the devil had stolen from him
• It’s not about a man loosing faith in God, it’s about a man who maintained his faith against through the greatest of trials
• Its not about a man who lost faith, its about God who trusted him to sin not no matter what the devil threw his way.
• It’s not about God allowing or sending trials, it’s about God bring Job into ultimate victory over the devils worst abuses.
• Its not about a man in a pit despair, its about God who redeemed him from the pit of hell and his life from darkness (33:28)
• It’s not about 3 friends that lived to judge and condemn him, it’s about God who justifies, it’s about a days-man who intercedes for the downtrodden, the abused the wounded and the sick.
• Its not about a man being overcome, its about man being victorious because of his faith and trust in God
• Its not about Jobs trials, its about Gods victory
• Its not about Jobs sicknesses and his diseases, its about Gods will and his ability to heal mankind of whatever curse Satan sends
• Its not about Jobs losses, its about his ultimate gains
• Its not about sin ‘its about Gods redemption’
• Its not about a bad devil ‘its about a good God’
• Its not about the devils ability to inflict unspeakable trials on a human being, it’s about Gods willingness to restore every loss.
• Its not about a man faith in God it’s about ‘Gods faith in man’
• Its not about a man defeat, its about man ultimate victory over sickness poverty death and hell because he dares to trust in an Almighty God
• Its not about a man imprisoned, its about God who turned again his captivity when he prayed for his friends
• Its not about the wise council of older men, its about Gods servant who continued to speak well of God (42:7) in spite of wrong council
• Its not about Gods wrath, its about his love for a man who dared to honour Gods name in spite of his condition
It’s about victory when faced with the greatest of trials, about the innate ability of a man or woman of God to overcome the worst of life’s circumstances, the worst storms that threaten us as we keep our eyes fixed on Christ.
It’s about Gods power working in us to overcome our greatest fears and our worst nightmares, his grace providing for our every need while his mercy forgives our many failings.
It’s about heavens love unfeigned, unmerited favour, extraordinary and extravagant grace fast tracked to the needy, the poor in spirit every dark morning.
It’s about God’s divine health flowing out as virtue to all who would dare to reach out a fingertip in childlike faith and touch Christ knowing in their hearts that he wills to heal all.
It’s about Gods provision, his wealth, his riches and his great desire to prosper you even as your soul prospers.
It’s about God standing over his word to perform it, about the unchanging God in whom ‘there is no variableness neither shadow of turning’
It’s about God our rock, our fortress, the totally dependable God of our salvation.
It’s about our God our great Shepherd who leads us beside still waters in green pastures even when we desire the perceived but destructive green grass on the other side of the fence.
It’s about Christ in us the hope of glory; Christ with us never leaving our forsaking us, Christ our all in all...
Even as Job discovered Christ is our victory

A very good understanding of Job's encounter with the devil and his victory over Satan. God gave him the steadfastness to overcome and to be an example to us here on earth.
