There are opposing thoughts on this subject among Christians, and it is sometimes a matter of heated discussion.
It is essential as Christians to be aware of prophecies and end time events. Most important, though, is our commission to preach the news of Christ to all nations and peoples. In that way, we can be open to allowing God to reveal Himself to us through His word – the Bible. We must not allow ourselves to be deceived. The Lord will come “like a thief in the night,” so we must be prepared at all times.
