Malachi wrote this promise to all who fear or serve and love the Lord,
'Unto you who fear (serve, love) the Lord will the 'Sun' (brilliant ray) of Righteousness arise with healing in his wings, and you shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stall' Malachi 4:2
Have you ever seen calves in a stall? I have; they literally jump for joy when the master comes with food and drink, they have youth they have vigour they have no problems as they are cared for by their master the farmer.
Listen; because you serve the Lord he will rise like the morning sun in all its brightness and bring health and healing to you.
What a great God we serve what a wonderful saviour and friend; he forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases, Psalm 103 verse 2.
In Luke 4 verse 18-21 Jesus was handed the book of Isaiah and read;
'The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord'
He then closed the book, And said 'this day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears'
Listen please for your redemption, your day of freedom is at hand;
This same Jesus the one you love and serve came to bring healing to the broken in heart, to bring deliverance to those held in captivity, to enable the blind to see and to set at liberty those who have been bruised, downtrodden and beaten...
When? This day, the day you read this word, this morning when you rise and declare I believe it because Jesus said it; this day when you tell that old reprobate the devil that you’re not his but that you have been bought with a price, the blood of Gods son.
This day has the Son risen with healing for you, today the moment you hear this word you are hearing Christ speak and say 'today is the beginning of a new life for you' all these promises, all these things are fulfilled today in Christ.
The one who healed Hannah’s broken heart by giving her a son, the one who delivered Daniel from the lions den, the one who gave Bartameaus his eye sight, the one who brought liberty to the paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda is at your side saying 'today these things have been fulfilled in your life and in your ears'
Let your conversation be of Gods greatness, of his will to heal you, of your trust in Him and of his many promises to you both, all of which cannot fail
Sadly some of those who heard Jesus speak said 'is this not Joseph's son' they treated him as a mere man, little wonder he could do no great miracles there.
Beloved, Christ is indeed Lord of all; he is the bright and morning star, the lily of the valley, the Rose of Sharon and your everlasting salvation. He is the good shepherd who seeks out the lost, he is your strength, your shield and your protection, and he is ‘your’ all in all.
'Through many dangers toils and snares you have already come was grace that brought you safe thus far and grace will lead you home' can you say a big AMEN...
Arise and shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you' Isaiah 60:1 he 'will glorify the house of his Glory' verse 7 (your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit)
Oh yes and there’s more from heavens throne this morning;
Isaiah 63 verse 8-9 For He said surely they are my people; children that will not lie so he was their saviour; In all their afflictions he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them; in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
Cant you see the great truths here beloved; when you were afflicted he was afflicted, and he sent an angel to comfort and to redeem you, as a father pities his children. When you were afflicted he lifts you up and carries you even as he did in days of old.
Listen; Its time that you turned over the pages of your past with the many mistakes and dark areas, and allow Christ to write a new chapter in your life.
When you accepted Christ as your personal saviour you gave him the pen and let him re write your past so today allow him to write of your new life, your new found liberty, and new found health and peace.
