Psalm of Hope
God will lead me to a higher rock
When my heart is overwhelmed
A cliff to tower over my enemies
Their bitter words shall not prevail
My hope is secure in all he does
He destroyed the works of Hell
Annihilating them while nailed
To an old wooden post years ago
Beside him now I stand lifted high
High above the cares and woes below
That may be stumbling blocks for my toes
But cannot be a fence to keep me away
I shall reach his outstretched arms
Arms to keep me safe and sound
While surrounding me with his love
Upon the highest rock ever known
