I see Jesus,
He stands before me,
A crown of beauty
On His Head.
Each time I praise Him,
I add a jewel
To His crown.
I see words in them,
Wonderful,Majestic,
Messiah,Redeemer,
Prince of Peace.
As I worship,
I see the Lord's Glory,
Shining ever so brightly,
His Glory so thick.
The Lord calls us
To be people of praise,
To magnify Him
with words of praise.
It's a challenge for us
To grow in God,
Shall we glorify the Lord
with our praises?

What a beautiful concept, one of His redeemed placing jewels in Jesus' crown! Thank you, also, for your welcome comment on my writing, "Sorrow." I'm so happy to "meet" you through our writing.
Miriam, I am so proud to have you for a friend... so gifted in the Spirit. Yes, this is what we all need to do by praising our Lord... for every thorn poked into His head we should Soothe it and Heal it with our praises, thereby turning each thorn into beautiful gems; for He is truly worthy of all praise.
God blessyou in all that you do. Praise the Lord.
Miriam, you used the word "adorn" three times in very close proximity. I don't think that helped your poem. However, I just loved your clause "Adorn the Lord with my praises" and the picture of you placing jewels in Hi s crown with those beautiful words attached to them was exquisite. I'm sure I saw Him beaming at you with the tenderest delight and love!
Wow, Miriam! This is such a beautiful poem! It rings out with your deep love for Jesus. 'Praises for the Lord as jewels in His crown! Such a lovely picturisation. God bless your writtings. Suma.
