Life sometimes is emotionally draining.
Opinions can lead to character staining.
We’re often brought up to politically conform.
Some people are too brainwashed to hear the storm.
The storm is human spirits that want to be free,
for all of us have an opinion to see.
Mostly…there are more than two sides to an issue.
There’s more to a cure needed than just a tissue.
Many fight for the right to use their one voice.
They just want to exercise their freedom of choice.
As a whole, what this country may need to survive
is to consider from where we once were derived.
It would seem that we take our freedom for granted.
Let us look back at the seeds that were planted.
Our history has always had a story to sell.
Let’s listen to what the past has to tell.
