I was awakened in the middle of the night with thunder rumbling outside, and the sound of the dog padding desperately around, looking for a place to hide.
The lightning flashed so bright, lighting up the room, the sound of the raindrops pattering the window, seemed to fill the room.
But I felt safe, the storm could not get to me, it had to stay outside my space, for the room's structure around me kept me secure, I was warm and dray inside my place.
It made me think of how our love, works in much the same way; building a strong framework around our hearts, to keep worry and trouble away.
These wall are so strong, nothing can get in, that would harm us in any way, and the walls are hung with God's loving grace, to smooth the path of our day.
There are many windows in that loving room, they let in the light of the Son, for He is the source of the love that we share, from Him all these good things come.
So I can listen to the storms rage outside, safe in the knowledge that our love is ever new; and I am free to fill our little room up with a thousand new ways to say "I love you!"
For not only are we safe in this room, we also have joy and happiness so true, and I am the most blessed woman I know for I'm living my dream come true!
