(The gift was a stained glass angel.
The occasion was her Confirmation
and Grade 8 Graduation)
Jordyn, on your Confirmation
And your Grade Eight graduation;
Here’s a gift that’s just for you
An angel to watch over you
You see, God can’t be every place
Too many in the human race;
So angels are a special band
They’re delegated God’s right hand
You’ll be guarded from above
And cherished by the God of Love;
His angels too will watch with Him;
And so will I, your Uncle Jim
