That's the key to freedom isn't it, the knowledge that you are going to come out the other end of every trial with a shout of victory, a shout of thanksgiving.
You are not like those without Christ, those who have no hope, for 'the Lord he is on your side' 'he is the shepherd who leads you beside still waters and pastures green' Psalm 23
He is the Lord your rock, our fortress against all evil, he is 'your great high priest who forever makes intercessions for you' he is 'the Lord your God' 'your redeemer' your 'great deliverer'
Allow me to encourage you today, to encourage you to see the Lord as he really is, not an enemy but 'a friend who sticks closer than a brother' not someone to accuse rather someone who is your great physician, the Lord who heals you. Exodus 15
He is the Lord who said to the doubting leper 'I will be you clean' Matthew 8, who spoke to 'Jairus's dead daughter, to the widows son both of whom were dead and said arise' Mark 5:41-Luke 7:14 who spoke to the woman who had an infirmity for 18 years and said 'woman you are loosed from your infirmity' Luke 13:12.
This same Jesus is the one who stands at your side giving faith not condemnation, he seeks obedience not sacrifice, thanksgiving not rebuke, he was not the the cause of your problem and strife but he is the one who can and wills to restore you to wholeness as you give him praise.
'Praise you the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto your God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely' (beautiful) Psalm 147:1
Faith sings praise before the victory, it shouts out praise even in the wilderness, it plants its feet on ground yet to be taken, it sings a song of thanksgiving knowing that God provides for sparrows like you and I, faith in Christ brings the victory for he holds the key to our lives.
Have you not reason to rejoice this morning, isn't your name written in the Lambs book of life? Philippians 4:3 aren't you sins washed away in the redeeming blood of Christ,
Oh yes my friend rejoice for 'as far as the East is from the West so far has he removed your transgressions from you'
Forget not all his benefits today, for he still forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases, he still redeems your life from destruction, his mercy is still from everlasting to everlasting, Psalm 103
