Lessons from an Acorn

I’m just a little acorn
Cracked and not much use am I
Fallen from the tree underfoot I lie
Trodden with disdain into the hard cold ground

Please be patient now with me
Growing slowly, not very quick I am
Over me all others quickly tower
Peering down with scorn from lofty heights

Look now, up here you’ll see
A lofty tree I’ve come to be
Stately and majestic, long time it took
Transformed by God into a mighty oak

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

A great picture of humbling ourselves under the mighty hand of God and waiting for Him to exalt us in due time. Plus, this piece is a confirmation for me regarding something I'm writing. Thanks. Great lesson!
