Prayer warriors engage in war via prayer, praying for God’s will to be done and His kingdom to come. They bombard the spiritual realm with prayer through Jesus’ name, directed to God in Heaven by the leading of the Holy Spirit. They are fervent and passionate in prayer, but never leave the narrow path of praying that God’s will is done.
They pray for God’s people to be united in His will, His vision for His creation. They pray against division, deception in the heart of God’s people. They pray for the truth to be made evident to all, that the truth cannot be contained, manipulated or restricted in any way.
War implies action not passivity, so prayer warriors prevail against all interruptions, odds, distractions, deceptions, and divisions. They are not side-tracked by trouble, but instead re-double their prayer efforts in times of attack.
They pray for confusion and division in the enemy’s camp. They pray for the enemy to be completely blinded by their own pride. They ask that the enemy be so busy competing with one another that they loose sight of the real battle.
They entreat God by asking Him to use them, to allow them to pray more effectively, more honestly and more powerfully.
