Sunday Morning

Sunday morning
Fresh and new
Lord, we’re coming
We’ll Worship you.

Church all filled
Every pew.
With sacredness
We worship you.

A new beginning
This first day
Of the week
For guidance we seek.

With humble hearts
We come to seek
Help for living
Another week.

We love this fresh
New start
With bowed heads
Humbled heart.

Lord, we love
Your Worship Day
When we rest
Worship and pray.

Yes, this is a day to get a fresh incentive to go out and serve the other six days. It's sad so many don't see Sunday as a blessing and opportunity the way your poem describes it. Have a good worship day. Thomas
