Getting control of your mouth. But I dare say the vast majority and in talking about believers don't know how to control their words that come out of their mouths. Controlling your tongue is no different. Your mouth determines your success or failure in life. No one else can do your talking for you. It's up to you. How do we put those laws into motion?
Through our mouth, through the words we speak day after day, Jesus, in explaining the power of words to His disciples said, "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall saith" Mark 11: 23.
Jesus was telling them you have what you say. Jesus was sent by God anointed and appointed to be the High Priest of our confessino, In other words, it's His job to see to it when we speak the word of God out our mouths that it come to pass.
The book of Proverbs 18: 21 said, Death and life are in the power of tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Everything you said or confess with your mouths either positive or negative shall come to pass as you say it. But notice what Jesus said in Matthew 12: 34-37.
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things; and an evil man out of the evil treature bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thywords thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Each one of us will stand judgment for every life word we speak. We will be condemned by our words and we will be justified or made righteous by our words. And that covers just about everything so it does matter what we say.
